HiddenApp has rebranded as Senturo, its enterprise-focused successor. Founded in 2010 (predating Apple's Find My Mac), HiddenApp spent over a decade protecting devices for individuals and small teams. Under new leadership from 2019, the platform expanded to serve K-12 districts and enterprises managing large device fleets, eventually evolving into a dedicated enterprise product. Senturo launched in mid-2024.
Senturo was designed specifically for enterprises managing hundreds or thousands of devices across multiple operating systems - a use case that required its own architecture, integrations, and compliance tooling.
As organizations' device fleets grow increasingly complex, so do their security challenges. While HiddenApp served individuals and small teams effectively, our enterprise customers need more comprehensive solutions for managing large-scale deployments. Enter Senturo – designed specifically for the complex security, compliance, and management needs of modern organizations.
Senturo builds upon HiddenApp's core strengths while introducing significantly enhanced capabilities for organizations managing hundreds or thousands of devices:
Senturo represents more than a name change – it's a reflection of our commitment to meeting enterprise security challenges. Our platform helps organizations:
HiddenApp continues serving individuals, families, and small teams who need reliable device protection. While Senturo focuses on enterprise needs, HiddenApp remains the ideal choice for personal device security.
The name combines "Sentinel" and "Future," reflecting our dedication to vigilant security and forward-thinking innovation. It represents our evolution into a security-first, enterprise-grade solution designed for tomorrow's challenges.
Dimension maps to continuous geofence monitoring, real-time device alerts, and proactive security enforcement. The future dimension reflects the platform's roadmap toward AI-assisted fleet management and predictive loss prevention.

Senturo is the enterprise successor to HiddenApp, built by the same team. The two products serve different audiences: HiddenApp is for individuals and small teams, while Senturo is purpose-built for organizations managing 50 or more devices. They share the same underlying security approach but have separate architectures, pricing, and feature sets.
HiddenApp has not been discontinued. The team launched Senturo in mid-2024 as a dedicated enterprise platform, while HiddenApp continues to operate as a separate product for personal and small-team device security. Both platforms are actively maintained.
The primary differences are audience, scale, and integrations. HiddenApp supports macOS and iOS for individuals and small teams with no MDM requirement. Senturo supports macOS, Windows 10/11, iOS 12+, Android, and Chrome OS for enterprise deployments, with native integrations for Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Google Admin Console, and Cisco Meraki.
Yes. Enterprise customers can migrate by connecting their existing MDM to Senturo, enrolling devices via bulk deployment, and configuring security policies in the Senturo dashboard. See the migration steps above or contact support@senturo.com for assistance.
Senturo integrates natively with Jamf Pro (macOS and iOS), Microsoft Intune (Windows and iOS), Google Admin Console (Chrome OS), and Cisco Meraki. The platform can also run as a standalone agent without an MDM.
Senturo supports all devices HiddenApp supported (macOS, iOS) plus Windows 10/11, Android, and Chrome OS. The expanded OS support was a core reason for building Senturo as a separate platform.
